Actor Nakuul Mehta, who has been with now wife Jankee Parekh since he was 18 years old, opened up about the non-traditional gender roles that they embraced in the early years of their relationship. In an interview, Nakuul said that he had minimal savings when they decided to get married, and thanked Jankee for taking a chance on him as a person.
Appearing on the Be a Man Yaar show, Nakuul said that for the first few years of their marriage, Jankee was paying more income tax in a year than he was earning.
