Bigg Boss fame Rahul Mahajan recently got divorced from Natalya Ilina, his third wife. He was earlier married to his childhood sweetheart Shweta Singh and actor Dimpy Ganguly. Rahul recently opened up about the divorce calling it a ‘big earthquake’ in his life. He also added how it has left him broken and he’s undergoing therapy to deal with his feelings.

Rahul Mahajan came under the limelight after his father Pramod Mahajan was killed by his own brother. After his first divorce, he conducted a ‘swayamvar’ on national television, where he got married to Dimpy. Rahul then participated in Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye, and given his comic timing, has also been part of numerous gag-based shows. While his first two wives accused him of domestic violence, the reason for his third divorce is still under wraps. However, Rahul assured that he never had to pay any alimony to any of his former wives, because the divorce was always on mutual terms.

Speaking to ETimes, Rahul shared, “I’ve never paid a single rupee as an alimony in any of my divorces – Shweta (Singh), Dimpy (Ganguly) and Natalya. All my divorces have been by mutual agreement.” He also dismissed the buzz that the marriage failed because Rahul wanted a baby, while Nataliya wasn’t keen. He shared that given he’s 48 years old, he has no plans of having a baby.

Rahul Mahajan: ‘Sometimes, it’s not anyone’s fault’

Talking about his inconsistency in keeping his marriage, Rahul Mahajan said that like anyone, he never grew up thinking he would divorce so many times. He said his soul “has been torn” after the “painful” end of his relationships. But the Bigg Boss alumnus maintained, “It is not anyone’s fault.”

He also shared how he’s taking therapy to deal with his present state of mind. Rahul also said that while there’s a stigma around seeking help through therapy in India, he has no shame in doing it. However, he does feel cynical about falling in love as he’s scared about it. “I am emotionally unavailable at the moment. I can meet someone, talk to someone, but pyaar main nahi kar sakta because mujhe darr hogaya hai (I cannot fall in love as I am scared). I need to heal, I’m not fit,” Rahul Mahajan said.
