Actors Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, who appeared together on Bigg Boss 14, took to their social media handles on Saturday to announce their pregnancy. The couple posed for some photos on a cruise as they shared the news about their “little traveller.”
The caption along with their photos read, “We promised we will TOGETHER explore the world since we started dating, got married and now will do ❤️AS A FAMILY 🧿❤️ welcoming the LITTLE Traveller soon!”
As soon as Abhinav and Rubina shared the news on social media, their friends from the fraternity showered them with congratulatory messages. Nia Sharma dropped a bunch of kiss emojis in the comments section. Himanshi Khurana, Jannat Zubair also congratulated them.
In an earlier interview, the couple had spoken about going through a rough patch in their marriage. In fact, the couple had also opened up about the fact that they had been contemplating divorce before they appeared on Bigg Boss 14. “Agar hum iss show mein saath nahi aate, to shayad hum saath reh bhi nahi paate (If we hadn’t come on the show together, we might have already parted ways),” Dilaik said on Bigg Boss.
She told indianexpress.com in 2020, “We have had problems and challenges in our marriage too. However, what keeps us together is that we have not lost our individuality. We never overshadow or want to change each other. And I think Bigg Boss is the only platform where one can keep a private aspect in public, and touch lives through that. I think we will learn about ourselves, each other and the relationship through the show, and also set an example for others.”
Rubina and Abhinav tied the knot in 2018.
