On the fourth day of the coveted Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI 2023, we witnessed an impressive exhibition of innovation, elegance, and stardom.
The catwalk was graced by renowned celebrities including Kiara Advani, Parineeti Chopra, Malaika Arora, Rakul Preet, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, and others, who brought their unique and stylish personas to the runway.
Kiara Advani walked for TRESemmé x Falguni Shane Peacock, presenting their latest street-luxe collection. In a semi-sheer black and golden gown with a strapless design, abstract gold embellishments, and a see-through skirt, Kiara stood out. Her look was complemented with peep-toe stilettos, striking kohl-rimmed eyes, and a center-parted bubble braid.
Parineeti Chopra’s debut post-marriage runway appearance was for Faabiiana. She graced the stage as the showstopper, donning a pearl-embellished saree with a sheer net cape. The ensemble was accentuated by layered diamond necklaces and a choker, while Parineeti added a personal touch with sindoor and pink chooda from her wedding.
Malaika Arora, the showstopper for 431-88 by Shweta Kapur, embodied the spirit of the ‘modern global woman.’ She exuded ultra-chic vibes in an oversized structured blazer, high-waisted striped trousers, and a corset.
Rakul Preet Singh, showcasing Bhumika Sharma’s creations, graced the runway in a silver lehenga with a red base, adorned with intricate embroidery. The collection featured an array of prints enriched with embellishments and embroideries.
Tamannaah Bhatia, dressed in Vani Vats’ collection, ‘Piroi’, captivated the audience with a silver and golden bridal lehenga set. The textured fringes on her lehenga were perfectly complemented by a full-sleeved blouse.
Sanjana Sanghi, representing Anju Modi’s bridal collection ‘The Rhythmic Symphony’, looked exquisite in a satin ivory lehenga adorned with golden embroidery. Her timeless appearance was elevated by exquisite jewellery.
Tara Sutaria’s floral look for Mahima Mahajan’s collection included a stunning lehenga set with shimmery prints and a sheer dupatta, creating a fusion of floral prints and fluid silhouettes.
Vijay Verma, donning a kurta set with a half-bandhgala jacket and a dupatta for Tasva, looked dapper while maintaining a traditional aesthetic, complemented by trendy sunglasses and a layered golden necklace.
The grand showcase of Lakmé Fashion Week 2023 is set to conclude on October 15 in New Delhi.
