Actor Vikrant Massey has confirmed that his wife Sheetal Thakur, who is also an actor, is pregnant. The couple are now expecting their first child together. This comes over a year after the duo got married in February last year.
Today morning, Vikrant took to his Instagram handle to announce the happy news, sharing a picture of him embracing his wife Sheetal from their wedding day. The words in the photo read, “We are expecting! Baby coming 2024.The cute creative had 2 safety pins, resembling the couple, with one of them bloated and showing a smaller safety pin inside it. He captioned the post, “New Beginnings”.
As soon as Vikrant shared the post, he was inundated with congratulatory messages from the film industry and fans alike.

Vikrant and Sheetal married in February of last year. In addition to a note, he had shared the first official photos from his wedding with Sheetal. He wrote in Hindi, “Saat saalo ka ye safar aaj saat janmo mein badal gaya. Is safar me humara saath dene ke liye bahut bahut shukriya. Sheetal evam Vikrant. 18.02.2022 (Our seven-year adventure has transformed into a bond for seven lives. Thank you for being here with us. Vikrant and Sheetal).”
According to reports, the couple has been dating since 2015 but has kept their relationship private. Vikrant and Sheetal also appeared in the ALT Balaji show Broken But Beautiful, in which Vikrant played one of the main characters.
They got engaged in a small roka ceremony in November 2019, which was kept under the wraps.
Massey had shared a photo of the couple’s sea-facing home after their engagement. “Mera ghar (my home)”, he wrote, tagging Sheetal.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vikrant discussed about his marriage to Sheetal and how things have changed for him. Throughout the interview, Vikrant lavished praise on his beloved wife, and stated how she constantly pushes him to challenge himself and improve.
“Sheetal is someone who has always been my backbone. She’s the one who’s always the first one to push me to probably test myself, challenge myself, and bring out the best within. That continues to happen,” the ever-doting husband said.
